So I've been coming to Stony Lake since I was a child but I'd never gone here before. It's really an unassuming building that looks plain from the outside. On the inside, it looks like a normal bar with tables for customers to have lunch, but there is another room which they may use for receptions or parties. They have a daily special for each day of the week, at a dollar off the price. My club sandwich was surprisingly big (and had 3 layers!), and my boyfriend's french dip was giant and melty. I think the only issue is that they're a little bit understaffed when it's busy. Otherwise, this is a great place for lunch.
We met my sister and brother in law for an early dinner. I had the salmon salad with blue cheese dressing. The rest of the group had fish and chips. Service was very friendly. The beer was good. The meals were good, maybe a tad over priced, but that just seems to be the norm these days. My salad was a nice size but the salmon a bit small, like half a piece. The blue cheese dressing was great and tasted like home made. The fish was good too. The dinner comes with 2 sides. I'd definitely recommend a small salad rather than the cole slaw with the fish dinners. We enjoyed our dinner and will definitely be back!
